Music Psychotherapy
Clinical Supervision

Supporting Professional Growth

Supervision and mentoring have been transformative for my growth as a therapist and I welcome fellow practitioners who are seeking the same for themselves. I meet all the professional practice requirements of CAMT and CRPO, including being authorized to practice psychotherapy independently and being a clinical supervisor.

In addition to offering a space to discuss and seek feedback on common clinical topics relating to client care (e.g. ethics, treatment planning, transference/countertransference, etc.), my psychotherapy supervision approach involves supporting the growth of the therapist's whole self. This may include exploration of the therapist's identity, nurturing the safe and effective use of self, refining verbal counseling and psychotherapy skills, and further developing music-centered competencies.

Drawing from my clinical experiences in acute mental health care, cancer and palliative care, developmental disability support, and long-term care, I offer insights into issues therapists may encounter when supporting individuals who are going through complex life experiences. As someone who is passionate about creative and holistic approaches to psychotherapy, I offer a space for fellow therapists to explore and navigate the integration of creative modalities with talk-based therapy, and for developing best practices in their clinical work.
